K 78 Battle Rifle

K 78 battle rifle. A polymer receiver, battle rifle design for combat over the great European plains. I wanted to imagine what a Cold War battle rifle could have looked like if more modern materials had been accessible at the time. Perhaps this is how they would have evolved if the Cold War had continued into the 1990s.
